Our GCSE results have shown a very pleasing improvement compared to 2009. 5+ A*-C including English and Maths improved from 19% to 36%. In addition, the proportion of students achieving 5+ A*-C improved from 30% in 2009 to 72% this year.

These results represent a significant improvement and are the best achieved by the school to date. The Post-16 results were also the best we have achieved to date.

Both staff and students are to be congratulated on the hard work that has contributed towards these results and we greatly appreciated the tremendous support of the Local Authority and the continued support of our Governing Body.
